Most frequent questions and answers
Receiving Work Orders
As soon as you have your W9, Certificate of Insurance, and signed vendor agreement submitted we can start sending you work based on your trade and location.
A Be Realty Management team member will assign you a work order and you will receive an email (be sure to update your email if it changes) and then the team will follow up with a call to your number on file.
Each work order is assigned to one person so depending on the work order you may work with a few different Be Realty Management team members. To meet the team visit the Maintenance section on the “Our Team” page on our website.
Depending on the urgency of the work order the time frame may vary but we expect Emergency work orders to be done within 4 hours, High Priority work orders to be completed within 24 hours, and all other work orders within 5 days.
Before and after pictures are required in order to meet Be Realty Management requirements. We need to have pictures up close and from far away so we can see the range of things around what you are fixing.
Invoices & Payment Time Frames
You will be paid electronically within 7-10 days from the point all invoices & pictures are submitted properly to Be Realty Management.
Insurance Requirements
While working on behalf of Be Realty Management LLC it is possible that your work for us may result in Bodily injury or Property Damage. The required insurance provides the means to transfer risk away from our mutual organizations to avoid fiscal damage.
Short answer, it is the law. Workers’ compensation is a no-fault system of benefits paid by employers to workers who experience work-related injuries or diseases. The Illinois Workers Compensation Commission, and other state agencies monitor the various Workers’ Compensation Acts.
Be Realty Management LLC is audited annually by our insurance carrier for any subcontractors that we hire. If a subcontract is unable to provide the required certificate showing general and employers liability (WC) we will be charged for your services on our insurance. As such, we require your organization to carry these coverages.
